Ask GeoScript
Grounded natural-language Q&A over client data. What it can and cannot answer, the zero-cost refusal, and what data it draws from.
What is Ask GeoScript?
Ask GeoScript (/app/ask) is a natural-language interface for answering questions about your client's AI visibility — grounded strictly in data GeoScript has already stored for that client workspace. You ask a question; GeoScript answers using observations, recommendations, and outcomes from the client's stored record.
What it answers
Ask GeoScript can answer questions about:
- Which AI engines have the most or fewest observations for a client.
- Which recommendation categories have been flagged.
- What the recent outcome metrics show.
- What the prompt universe covers.
- Trends and changes visible in stored data.
Example questions:
- "Why did visibility fall?"
- "Which competitor is beating us?"
- "What should we work on first?"
- "What changed after the deployment?"
- "Which prompts show our brand?"
Grounding — stored data only
Ask GeoScript assembles context exclusively from the client workspace's stored records: observation counts by engine, prompt category distributions, recent recommendations, and recent outcome metrics. It does not perform live web searches, query AI engines in real time, or retrieve information from sources outside GeoScript's stored data.
The context sent to the AI is hard-capped in size. If the workspace has very limited data (early onboarding, few observations), the answer will reflect that limitation honestly.
Zero-cost refusal when no evidence
If a client workspace has no stored evidence to ground an answer — no observations, no recommendations, no outcomes — Ask GeoScript returns a deterministic refusal: "The available data doesn't show enough evidence to answer that question." No AI call is made, and no cost is incurred.
This is by design. Ask GeoScript will not speculate or fabricate answers from an empty evidence base.
Tenant isolation
Ask GeoScript enforces tenant isolation before any data retrieval or AI generation. It verifies that the requested client workspace belongs to your agency. If the workspace does not exist or belongs to another agency, the response is identical — to prevent cross-agency workspace-ID probing.
An answer for one client's workspace never contains data from another client's workspace, even within the same agency.
What Ask GeoScript does not do
Ask GeoScript does not perform live research. It cannot answer questions about what is happening on the web right now, or what an AI engine returned in a query you run yourself.
Ask GeoScript does not replace the Reports surface. Reports are structured, period-scoped narrative documents. Ask is a conversational interface over the same underlying data.
Ask GeoScript is available for agency-console users only. A public-docs version (grounded in GeoScript's public documentation) is a future feature, not yet available.
GeoScript does not guarantee that Ask responses are exhaustively accurate. Answers are grounded in stored data and reflect the completeness of that data. Sparse workspaces produce more qualified, limited answers.
