Billing

$299/month per active client seat, Stripe checkout, seat states, and what happens if payment fails.

Pricing model

GeoScript uses a per-client-seat pricing model. Each active client seat costs $299/month. You pay for each client you are actively monitoring — not a flat platform fee.

Seats in CRM stages (SAVED, CONTACTED, WON, etc.) that have not been activated do not bill. Billing starts when you activate a seat.

Stripe checkout

Seat activation goes through Stripe. When you click "Activate seat" on a client, GeoScript initiates a Stripe checkout session. Complete the checkout with your payment method. On successful payment:

  • The seat moves to ACTIVE state.
  • Monitoring begins for that client.
  • Your client workspace is provisioned.

A "Payment successful" confirmation is shown in the console. If checkout is canceled, no charge is made and the client remains at their current CRM stage.

Seat states

  • ACTIVE — billing current, all features enabled.
  • ACTIVE_ONBOARDING — newly activated; onboarding data collection in progress (billing active).
  • PAST_DUE — payment has failed. The seat may be suspended if not resolved. GeoScript sends a notification through Stripe's dunning flow.
  • No seat — the relationship exists in CRM but no paid seat has been activated.

Seat state changes are driven by Stripe webhooks. Webhook events are processed idempotently — duplicate events do not create duplicate state transitions.

Cancellation

GeoScript seats are month-to-month. You can cancel a seat at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Monitoring data for the client is retained for a defined period after cancellation — contact support for data retention questions.

Invoice and billing history

Invoices and payment history are managed through the Stripe customer portal. Access it from your agency settings. Stripe provides receipts for each billing cycle.

What billing does not cover

The $299/month seat fee is what your agency pays GeoScript. It does not include:

  • What you charge your client — you set your own pricing.
  • Any Stripe processing fees (those are between you and Stripe).
  • Any future premium add-ons (none currently exist).

GeoScript does not offer volume discounts through the standard signup flow. Contact sales for large-agency arrangements.
