Pitch Rooms
Create, publish, and share AI-visibility pitch decks for prospects. State machine, share tokens, view counts, and revocation.
What is a Pitch Room?
A Pitch Room is a shareable, token-gated proposal page backed by AI-visibility data about a specific prospect. You create it, it generates a unique share link, and the prospect can view it without logging in. Pitch Rooms are designed to give prospects a concrete, evidence-backed picture of their AI-visibility gap.
Creating a Pitch Room
From the Pitch Rooms page (/app/pitch-rooms), click "Create pitch room." Select the prospect relationship the room is for. Optionally add a title. A new room is created in DRAFT state with a unique share token assigned automatically.
A room in DRAFT state is not accessible to prospects — the share link is not yet live.
Publishing a Pitch Room
From the room's entry in your list, select the publish action. The room moves from DRAFT to PUBLISHED. Only after publishing does the token-gated share link become active and accessible to the prospect.
Publishing is a one-way step: once published, the room's content is locked. You cannot edit the narrative of a published room. If you need to make changes, revoke the room and create a new one.
Sharing the link
Once published, the share URL is displayed. It looks like: geoscript.ai/pitch/[token]
Copy the link and send it to your prospect by any channel you choose (email, LinkedIn, etc.). The prospect can open the page without any GeoScript account.
The share link contains only the token — no agency ID, no internal identifiers are exposed in the URL or to the browser.
View counts
When a prospect opens a published Pitch Room, the view count increments. View counts are updated securely server-side using service-role access — prospects cannot inflate or manipulate counts. The list view in your console shows the total view count and the last-viewed timestamp.
Revoking a Pitch Room
If you need to take a pitch room down — the deal moved on, the content is outdated, or any other reason — revoke the room from the actions menu. Revoked rooms no longer serve their share link. The prospect receives a 404 if they try to access the link after revocation.
Revoked rooms remain in your console list for record-keeping but cannot be re-published. The state machine is: DRAFT → PUBLISHED → REVOKED (one direction only).
What Pitch Rooms do not do
Pitch Rooms are read-only proposals. Prospects cannot interact with them, leave comments, or request changes through the room itself.
GeoScript does not send automatic emails to prospects when a room is published or viewed.
Pitch Rooms do not contain pricing commitments or contracts — they are informational proposal pages.
